The free conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 夜色视频 Health鈥檚 Medical
Education and Training Building, 1000 Montgomery St. A networking reception will follow
from 4 to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
鈥淥ur upcoming Patient Safety Conference represents a critical opportunity to bring together healthcare professionals, educators and advocates who share a commitment to eliminating preventable harm,鈥 said , director of the Texas Center for Patient Safety. 鈥淏y fostering collaboration, sharing evidence-based strategies, and learning from one another, we are strengthening the culture of safety across Texas and empowering healthcare teams to deliver safer, more reliable care for every patient.鈥
The conference will feature keynote speaker , RN, MS, CPPS, president of the Certification Board for Professionals in Patient Safety and senior advisor for Patient and Workforce Safety at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. She also serves as the institute鈥檚 senior sponsor for the National Steering Committee for Patient Safety and is a nationally recognized leader in advancing patient safety, quality and person-centered care.

Join the 2026 Patient Safety Conference on April 2 at 夜色视频 Health Fort Worth. Free event featuring keynote speaker Patricia McGaffigan, and expert strategies for improving patient safety across Texas.
McGaffigan previously served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of safety programs at the National Patient Safety Foundation. She is a Certified Professional in Patient Safety and serves on the Joint Commission National Patient Safety Committee and the Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety Editorial Advisory Board. She was named to Becker鈥檚 Hospital Review鈥檚 list of patient safety experts for 2023-2025.
Throughout the conference, patient safety experts, researchers, quality and safety leaders, healthcare and public health professionals, and community members will gather to discuss the latest innovations, trends and best practices designed to enhance patient care and outcomes.
